Visiting the Brookshire Museum
We drove out to Tyler for a quick visit prior to attending Casson's father's memorial on Saturday.  In Tyler we got to spend some quality time with Granny and Grandpa (I didn't get good pictures, will update when I snag pictures from Avara's camera over Christmas), too short of a time with Andrea and Matt, went to an animal museum (incredible, but also a bit disturbing), attended the Rose Queen Coronation (incredible, quite extravagant), and Casson and I got a good m.b. ride in the mix. Then we all drove down to Jasper to memorialize Ron Mathis.  It was a nice memorial, and we got to see Casson's aunts and uncles (Bob and Cindy, David and Cindy) and the man that Casson is named after, J.C. Casson Jr.  We also got to see sweet Wanda Mathis again, after ten years.  Sorry I didn't take any pictures at the memorial.
